I can change it only if I connect them with the aux cable, but doing so, I lose all other features such as microphone and the general audio gets even worse. I noticed that from windows I CANNOT change the sample read of the headset which is stuck by default (and can't be changed with or without drivers) at 24bit 48000khz. I have tried both with steelseries gg SW installed and without it, I have tried to connect them with aux cable.
But the crackling sound (specially on medium and high treble frequencies) is always there. It occurs randomly and it also disappears randomly. Any clues? I am currently using them on my desktop gaming rig.
